whats a good performance intake manifold for the good ol 2200 o and for those who helped me before i found a good engine shop who does p and p but i have to see the price for it so let me know about the intake manifold for me that would be great
As far as i know the only performance ntake mani for the 2200 is going to have to be custom. I think it flows just fine anyways..id search for the 2.3 tb swap ..that helps...and if you know a good port and polish shop..take that head in and get it ported..one of the biggest hold backs on the 2200.
There isn't one made for the 2200, it has to be custom-made. I would like to see one for it, but I don't think that'll happen anytime soon.

I'd be more than happy to make one actually, but I'm currently not in a position to do it. Maybe in a couple of years (granted by then it may be pointless).

What i have decided to do is to go to the junk yard grab a intake manifold from another 2200 like mine and take it to the local fab shop around the corner from my house and see what he can do. I have to make arrangements to drop off my radiator and fans to get a custom shroud made for it any way. So i am sure he would be interested. If all goes well maybe i can convince him to make up a couple and then just post his contact information for him. Will let every one know by the end of the week
Ummm, RSM makes a ported intake manifold for the 2200....Thats the best we got going for us...If you are looking for the 2.3 TB swap, I have one I am not using....already modded for the 2200. If you want it, shoot me a pm, it's gotta go as well as a BUNCH of other 2200 stuff.
