ok this is prob a long shot but i have a 96 cavalier z24 with the 2.4 twin cam and im looking to build it n/a and im looking for a company the builds tublar intake manifolds for the 2.4 twin cam so if ne one knows were i can find them i would love it for u to let me know the comapny name and or web site i can get a price off of oh and it theis helps is an automatic tranny
If you've ever really looked at the stock mani..... it's already pretty close..... LO and HO intakes are probably closer to what your looking for though...
I know what your talking about.... but they are usually used in boosted applications more than anything..... I think that Han Racecraft (<-- prob spelled wrong) has a mani like your laking about on thier boosted Sunfire... they sell turbo kits for our cars.... maybee you could look them up, and ask them about the intake mani..
ok thanks im glad some one said something for me to do every time i post i never get ne replies
hahn will not make anything for a 2.4 so just get that out of your head now...
venom makes a nice intake manifold for the 2.4 but really isnt worth the price, especially for an N/A application. i have it and it really didnt seem to do a damn thing on my car (also an auto). i got an extremely good deal on mine, thats why i got it. im going boost though so im hoping that it helps out in that dept.
induction dynamics used to make a sheet metal intake for the 2.4, but again... very expensive and i think you would be hard pressed to locate one nowadays.
really, your best bet will probably be a lo or ho 2.3 quad manifold as was said above. there are literally HUNDREDS of threads in this forum that cover everything you could possibly want to know about doing the swap to those manifolds so just use the search and you wont be disappointed.
