service engine soon light? need help

alright well i have a 2.4 and i installed a pacesetter full exhaust..after i put it on, my service engine soon light came on...i noticed that my car was mis firing a lil, so i unplugged my front o2 sensor...when the front sensor was unplugged it would run fine but my service engine light would still be on, so i took it to my buddys shop and hooked it up on the computer and it said it had low front 02 activity...so i purchased a new 02 sensor hooked it up, and my service engine light was still on, and it still mis fired while hooked up...any ideas what is causing this?

bosch is one of your problems..im ALSO guessing you got your 02 sensor from a parts store..that was your second mistake...use ONLY acdelco 02 sensors..im betting if you make those two changes everything will go back to normal...theres allll kinds of threads on this if you look

YOU NEED TO RESET THE CODES WITH A CODE SCANNER WHAN YOU REPLACE A SENSOR. many ppl will say you dont but none of my codes ever went away without erasing them. trust me im at the garage once a week erasing codes from messing with my car. and yea bosch def makes our motors run like crap. delco plugs are only about 5 or 6 bucks and you got 4 cylinders its not gonna cost an arm and a leg to replace the plugs. you can also use ngk like 99 said above ngk and delco have made a plug or 2 together for the pontiac grand prix gtp dont ask how or why but it def had ngk and delco stamped on it. cheap ngk plugs will do just find i have regular platinum ngk plugs in mine cost me 2 bucks each and ive used delco double platinum and ngk iridium ix and i see no difference. i have a header on mine no cat and i have both sensors still in the only one that gives me problems is the upstream.
