so now that i got my motor done i've been doing some timing and my quickest 0-60 time so far is 6.9sec. i got to wondering for my build would a 52mm T.B help with low end torque or should i keep with the 56mm T.B?

I put a 57mm throttlebody on a stock 2.4 with catback and HO intake manifold. I didnt notice any difference in performance. Maybe a little top end gain but no loss on the bottom end. From what I have read the secret cams take away from the bottom end and give you more top end power. My suggestion is to get a Yank converter for your auto. That made i big difference in the way my car took off from a dead stop. Thats about the best advice I can give.

if ya wanna know something crazy. I was pushing out 360ish hp on a stock 2.4 throttle body slammed up onto a 2.3HO manifold.....

-Trailblazer SS - not so custom 6.0L - custom intake - custom tune
- (1) 2.4L on an engine stand (1) blown trans (2) good quad trans (1) eco trans = party

i stayed with the stock oil pump i just rebuilt it. i would go boost but this is my daily driver and i dont want to. if i go the route of better cams what would you recommend? i do have 10.5 cp piston so i'm not sure how big of cams i can go. Also where could i get stiffer valve springs?

Duh spy, thats because its precompressed, and your running a blow through setup :}
Na, is a completley different animal versus FI power wise on a throttle body. You know that.
