Hi newbi here,I have a 2000 sunfire with the 2.4 and im putting a 98 2.4 engine in it and the knock sensor is different,,whats my options because the sensor on the 2000 has 2 wires and the 98 has 1 wire
is there an adapter or something???? Thanks

Why are you putting in a 98 motor? You will need to drill a new hole for the 2000+ knock sensor.

im putting in the 98 motor because the 2000 motor burnt out,,,and i got the 98 dirt cheap....and is it hard to drill that out or does it have to be drilled out by a professional?

Well the 2000+ knock sensor is smaller (thread wise) than the 98 knock sensor. You will need to drill a completely different hole. Figure out the thread size so you know what size bit to use. Should not be hard.
