Take out the battery and you will see exactly how it comes out. If you dont have the bong in there still then it should come out pretty easily. If you still have the bong pull the inner fender liner and yank that bitch out think you need to cut a rivet that holds it in. Just look around in there it is really easy to figure out.

cool.....Ill be doing that.

I was looking at it and there seems to be a reservoir for something (it was dark and i couldent tell what it was, attached top the upper part of the air box. do i have to relocate that?

I think you're talking about the clutch reservoir. You'll have to find somewhere else to mount it once the airbox is gone.

I took a thin piece of aluminum... probably 1/2" wide drilled a hole at both sides, bent it into a 90 and bolted one end to the strut tower and zip tied the reservoir to the other end

I hate that there is no edit button because I forgot entirely to write about the airbox... It sounds to me like hes talking about the box on top of the valve cover... but i believe its just the clamp on the TB and hose that runs to the nipple on the valve cover and maybe a screw or two and it pops right off.

AEM makes a nifty aluminum bracket for the clutch reservoir. They market it for the 2.4 5speed cars, but it also works with all 3 versions of the 2.2, including the Ecotec. bought mine for about 30 bucks shipped, it mounts to that bracket the top end of the airbox was attached to. See the engine bay pic in my profile, I think you can see it there.

That's where I mounted mine as well. Just zip tied it to that small piece.
