what can i do to my 87 cavalier 4dr 2.0 pushrod auto to give it a lil oomph. my buddy has an 87 firenza 2dr ohc that has a whopping 12 more hp than my cavy and i wanna show him up for kicks and giggles so wat can i do
modify the timing and it gives ya a lil more bottom end. mines advanced about 6 degrees in my 2.0 ohv and it takes off like a bat outta hell

it is distributorless. so how do you adjust the timing. also when i punch the gas it like back fires thru the intake making a popping sound
