Im wanna know if you can swap a 97 2.4L motor and manual tranny into a 99 or 2000 cavy that already has a 2.2L motor and manual tranny existing. nad what other changes to be made. thanks schmitzracing

need engine and tranny of course. wiring harness, thats all i can think of now

tranny and engine mounts the same? I know that the engine harness goes with the motor. but you dont have to change the harness coming from the car (under the dash)
Trans from 2.2 and 2.4 are the same, but have different bell housings.....so they will not work on both engines.
Motor mounts are different.
Can not remember, but you might need the gauge cluster......?
