ok as most of you know im in the middle of swapping an 04 ecotec with the 5 speed into my 2002 that had the auto. Was wondering if i had to change the dash wireing as well? I dont think i have any wireing on the one i have for the clutch peddle....

If you have it, then swap it. You'll have the dash apart anyway to install the clutch pedal and swap the gas/brake pedals (assuming you're doing that). It's easier than messing around re-wiring the neutral safety switch on the auto trans harness as well.

If you don't have it... then you have the two to work around - the clutch switch for the starter, and the clutch switch for the cruise control.
