I feel a miss in my car...i notice its only when im sitting in idle...its not big miss...only misses once in a while ( my brother said he had the same issue when i was away an he was driving my car) he thought it was becuase of all the power being sucked from the battery from my system....he said he screwed the battery screws in tight....and it stoped.
Now i dont know if it worked cuz i wasnt home.
But i notice there is a miss now .... what can cause this, and how can i get it checked...get it hooked up to a computer an test the codes?
if its thowing a code then test it.

Your car runs off the alternator after the battery starts the car, unless your alternator stops working, so it's most likely not your battery. I would check your fuel pressure at idle and compare it to specs it may be low. Ignition components could also be a problem although this will usually cause problems off idle.

Not quite, pending codes wont light the CEL

my idle is perfect...it doesnt jump of fall witht he miss...it idles nice...just a small lil miss...just enough to notices it once an a while when at idle...ill get the codes done the weekend.
you will know if its storing codes as your check engine light will be on. unless its a pending code less important. You could also have a slight problem with a sensor. map tps ect or idle air control valve that could cause a slight miss. could be alot of things. check sensor specs.
the engine light is one but thats been one for a while cuz of the gas cap...the stupid thing comes on like once every few months then i got to reset it.
