Does anyone make these? I was told Ktech made the rods, but when I went to web site, no listing for rods. Is there a different spelling for "Ktech" or more to the name of the web site?
No idea about the rods, but 90-93 LN2's had a higher volume oil pump. Not sure if the pickup length will have to be modified or not. Will probably depend on any differences between oil pans on the older 90-93 LN2 and the newer LN2. You might could send Madjack a PM on that one because I believe he is using one of the older style pumps. FYI a Melling M-98 is the pump in question. Newer LN2's use the M-248.
The '90-'93 oil pump is a direct bolt on replacement. It supplies approximately 10% more volume and has a 60psi relief spring. This is the best pump for anything but a max effort race motor. There is also a high volume pump, that supplies 25% more volume than stock, but would be over kill and uses up more power to move the volume of oil it's moving.
Aluminum rods would have to be custom made. Eagle makes a very good forged steel rod, that would handle more than just about anything you could reasonably throw at them.
^^^ Good looking out. Plan on swapping pumps myself this winter. Need to put a cluctch in so I'm seriously considering pulling the motor/trans together.
