new engine...will a 2.4 eco fit in 2.2l sunfire?

so my engine is gettin old and worn now, ive got almsot 89,000 miles and my warranty is gonna end when i hit 100,000... so i dotn have much time left, im jsut curious if a 2.4l eco would fit? or wat other engines could i put in it?

a 2.4 eco is a RWD motor, and as far as I know, there's no tranny that will bolt up to it to make it FWD.
there's the 2.2 OHV, 2.4 LD9, and the 2.2 Eco motor that you can put in your car.

Dont the Cobalt SS NAs have the 2.4? I may be wrong but I thought that was the case.

AND the 2.3 quad
and yes the cobalt has a 2.4 ...but it still wont work...unless you have more money than brain cells.......

the 2.4 ECo is also a FWD engine. its in the CObalt SS non Supercharged cars

yeah. it will fit, but nobody has done this swap since the wring is a PITA

you can also put in a 2.4 out of a Z24, Eco 2.2,

The 2.4L Eco short block will bolt up to the top end, transmission and accessory drive of the 2.2L Eco. With the standard bolt-ons, cams and a P&Ped head, you could have quite a strong N/A motor

, the cobalt ss's have the 2.4 eco and so do the new solstices i think, well some of them
