should i get a glasspack

i was wondering if any one had any advice i got a pacesetter header magnoflow cat and a magen racing catback and i went to the parts store to get a glasspack and they the lafted at me when i told them i was going to put a thrush glasspack on my car would it sound right on my car i just dont want to ind up with that raspe sound.

First see how it sounds on the car.

All cars sound different and there is a thread here saying the Megan cat back it a nice set up.

If it is raspy then grab the longest Thrush you can find. That should help

i already have the carback and pacesetter header on but i need to get it welded on its kinda raspe already would the thursh help that at all that and someone told me the moagnolflow cat is going to make it worse.

Just get it. It will help and if it doesn't, you've only dropped 20 bucks. It's not hard on the bank.

yea but is it going to sound like @!#$ thtas my biggest fear of it couse then i have to cut it out later.

Robert, generally speaking, the resonator will filter out the raspy (high-pitched) sounds, reduce popping and quiet it down. My exhaust was a Pacesetter 4-1 Header, Magnaflow hi-flow cat and 2.25" cat-back w/ a can muffler. I just put a 20" Thrush inline right after the cat and the raspy sounds are gone (even when cold), the popping is minimal and the whole system quieted down (I was getting headaches before).

Get the resonator... it will not sound bad at all...

I got a 22" Thrush, big difference, i think the header and cat are the biggest in making noise and raspiness (atleast in my case). After adding the Resonator i was extremely statisfied.

yea picked up a 25" thrush glass pack today for 25 bucks will it fit in there right after the cat our is it to long.
