has anyone used Benson automotive machine shop to do sleeving or machine work on their ecotecs or any other cavy motor

Never been there, but I live within 10 miles of them. I would give them a call.
A very web quick seach netted a few magazine articles, in which they did machine work on various sport compact motors, from show cars to race cars, including resleeving the cylinders and reatiling various parts. I think those would be good signs.
