It should be somewhere around April 17th. My last dyno session is April 15th, so I can post before and after hp numbers. Along with everything else....
Unless you all want me to start it before then......

patience is a virtue. Let us know what your dyno shows.
If they're ready for production, there's really no reason to wait for the dyno to start selling them. Just post up what the stock ones weigh, then what your replacements weigh, and that should be incentive enough for people.
HP differences will vary from car to car but there's no denying the benefit of the rotational weight savings. It's the same as lightening the flywheel.
I agree with wild weasel. All you need is the weights and people will buy. Are you having a shop make these as we order them or are you making batches and selling only when the batch is filled? Also what colors are offered? Sorry if this has been covered already, its been awhile since i read the whole post. I can also wait, i wont have the money until the 10th anyways so it really doesnt matter to me. Again nice work.

I will offer red, blue, and clear. Clear having a slight gray color from the hard coating, blue being almost navy blue, and red being a darker red. The darker than expected colors are from the A4 hard coating. "Hardest offered" I'll post pictures of the red tonight.
I'll try and have the group purchase up asap....maybe mid next week. First I'll have a batch made and then I should be able to offer them one at a time. I'm also in discussions with Jason at A-plus about him selling them after the first group purchase is finished.

I'll be in for some, but maybe not during the GP. still trying to get my brakes done, and my high idle problem fixed.

can't this year, still a freshman. But definitely will next year, if i ever find someplace to live.
Can you design the alternator pulley similar to the crank pulley? Joining the holes to make jellybean shapes instead of a bunch of circles?
I like them. Nice work!

At this time I'll have to say no,
but I'll look into it. I do not have time to check the material properties & dimensions, and run a FAE analysis on it. I need to finish all my other senior projects for school.... All due first week of MAY!
And I also need to get this group purchase underway. I really do not think that it is safe marking the alternator pulley have slots like the crank pulley until it is fully tested and all stresses are accounted for.
In short terms I will not do it, until I know it will not brake or deform.

Totally ready for this GP
Wow I have been reading up on all of this and it looks great. But I have one question after reading all of this. Well first let me see if I can answer my own question and if not you can all correct me. If you get the UR pulley that is much smaller and alot less heavy as the stock crank pulley. You will be freeing up hp that is being eatten up by the stock heavy pulley. But with the UR pulley you are underdriving everything which is going to affect your A/C and power components. So by staying with a stock size light pulley which 24oz is still better than 4lb 7oz, you will be freeing up your missing hp and not messing with your A/C or power components? I don't know about you but I love my music as much as I love more power in my 2.4. Did I get all that right? If not please somebody explain it to me.

My car has two speeds, fast and faster.

Yeah you got it pretty much correct.
