ho manifold fitment issue...cut, yes or no?
Thursday, March 30, 2006 11:47 AM
Ok so I went to fit the manifold today and its good except that this point that my finger is pointed to gets in the way. I just wanted to check and make sure everyone else had to cut it off cause once I cut it it looks like it will fit fine. The bolt I am talking about is in the first pic. In the second pic it just shows all the wiring, that also kinda got in the way till I took it off that bolt that I need to cut off. What did you guys do to secure all this wiring?

leave the nut on and cut the stud off flush with the top of the nut and it will work.

There should be two bolts the one that is in your way and the one below it. Take out the one below it and put the one that is in your way in that hole. so you switch them.

Ok so I moved it all to the lower hole and moved the rest of the wires out of the way everything is good there. My next issue is the bottom studs. They sit flush with the manifold when the adapter plate is in place with the manifold. How are you supposed to get a nut on the end of that stud if it doesn't stick out at all?
