Do any of you guys feel a higher rev. with your short ram air intake? or do you hear anything when you are at higher revs? anything you have to say would help alot. Thanks

I dont know what you mean by "feeling a higher rev", but I just installed an injen short ram intake and noticed about 4/5 wheel horsepower on the top end around 4200-5600 rpm. Also seems to have a bit of a gain in low end torque. It also makes a nice air "sucking" sound in the high rpm range - tough to tell its distinct sound though cuz I have a header and 2.5 inch exhaust system installed.

I cant hear the air 'sucking' sound.... i think its because i installed a vibrant intake. I custom made it to fit. and I dont get that sucking sound. I thought that if i installed a K&N cone filter, it would change. it just feels that i have a higher rev. or maybe like you said higher low end torque. would anyone know how to install an aftermarket RPM gauge? like what wire to splice it into? if you knwo let me know
