So i had ordered a intake in the middle of Janurary and just now got it in today, and its well... halfway the right intake... it is for the 2.2 but its for the 95-97 and i have a 98 and it doesnt quite fit right, i tried to run it from the expansion box and it wont fit there because the battery is in the way and then i tried to flip it around and run it from the TB and the only problem with that is its just a TAD to high to fit under the hood, like it would be a perfect fit but the valve cover causes it to tilt upwards so when the hood closes it pushes the filter downwards pulling it up off of the throttle body (I hope i'm making sense)and also the vacuum nipples are pointing up rather than to the side of the intake but i dont see that being a big deal and was curious if there was any way to fix this... i've thought of a couple already and heres what they are... 1. Find a bigger reducer to get rid of the tilt from the TB so it tilts the other way, and 2. possibly take it to an exhaust shop and have them bend it so it does fit in where its supposed to if i run it from the expansion box.
Any help would be great sorry for the huge post but i wanted to go into detail so it could help you guys help me.
Thanks
