I guy I work with is big into performance stuff, he has a really really really fast mustang drag car, used to be to profesionally road race motorcycles, ect...
He mentioned something the other day that made alot of sence. You know a turkey cooking thing that when the inside hits a sertain temp. the little thingy pops up so you know its done? Well on his last mustang he had somethign like liek that in the intake manifold cause he was running a HUGE shot of nitrous. But it doesn't go off of temperature it goes off a pressure and when it pops up its acts liek a vent. The whole point of it was so if there was a big backfire instead of poping an intake manifold or bending thottle blades it would pop the vent out and releive the pressure out safetly rather then it finding its own way out. Has anyone heard of somethign like that before or any idea where to get one or ideas how to make one? Personally I think it was be a great investment for an engine with alot of money into it.....
Something like

Gm Stage II W/2.79" Pulley
K&N Drop In Filter
Custom Magnaflow Dual Exhaust
it would be similar to a pressure releif valve on a water heater...good idea
search google, there seems to be lots of places that make pressure valves, most of the ones i saw do custom jobs too, so they could make one for the pressure you need it to go to
