hey guys. got a question.
i was at work yesterday and me and my boss were discussing my car.
right now it has a drop in K&N intake. now im debating on building my own intake for the cav, WAI or CAI depends on the mood im in or the cost of parts.
now, the 2200 with no MAF sensor has a tendancy to run lean when equiped with an intake, but the fuel map will bump up the amount of fuel needed over a period of time. now this bumping up is only to an extent.
now i was told that a fuel pressure regulator can be added on and adjusted if the amount of bumping needed exceeds what the fuel map is capable of.
the question is [B]WHAT IS THE FUEL MAP CAPABLE OF? how effecient will this intake need to be to require extra fuel beyond that of the map? will it require more than just intake, or will it need an exhaust and headers for example.
anyone have an answer?
Injection is nice but id rather be BLOWN!
as long as your IAT is plugged in and you reset the PCM, it should run just fine dood.
I was a retard, and now I'm permanently banned.
