Ok! Due the rules of the class that I want to stay in for autocross, what air filter would you people recommend for my lovely "Black Box"?

K&N filter,remove the bong and pierce a lot of hole in the bottom of the box!

That's what I thought!! Hey Sunstealth when you mean the bong piece I take it you mean that tube that goes from the box itself to the fender wall?

yeah thats what i ment saves on the weight better airflow and if you drill holes at the bottom of the airbox you get even more air coming to the filter and check in you intake tube theres a 6 inches long plastic tube, remove it it serve no purpose beside restricting the airflow!

Could I get away with taking the tube from the filter box to the air box above the throttle boby off and replacing with a nice aluminium tube or will that take me out of HS and put me back into STS?

Personally i use powercore filters. its a generic brand of K&N. ssame damn thing but $20 cheaper in price.

Fuego---- Where did you get that inake setup. Ive been looking for one that goes to the throttle body!!!!
