Would it be possible to put 2 stock mufflers on a 2004 Cavalier? I want it to look like it has dual exhaust. If I were to do it I would not modify the Driver side at all I would put a splitter and just run pipe to the passenger side and have the pipe run into another stock muffler. I am not looking for performance or a different tone, I am looking to make the car look better and be quiet like stock. Has anyone done this? I dont know if this is in the right forum if its not then please move it.

the only problem you would have is the gas tank. but it is possible because they sell dual kits. just get ready for some custom bending if you are doing it yourself...
What you could do is take an exhaust system from an Sunfire that had dual exit setup...it should fit fine.

You could try to get a stock system from a sunfire GT which has duel pipes and then put on what ever style tips you want
