Has anyone used the Cosmo Racing WAI. If so how is the clearance around the hood?

the company they want 79.50 for it which seems like a good price considering it's mandrel bent and replaces the plastic box on the throttle body.

Don't get excited that it's mendrel bent because they are all pretty much bent the same...nothing special.

Because 2000 & 2001, the ECOTEC engine was not avaiable for the J-body platform. Also, I would be semi-wearie of the price as well, just seems a bit too cheap for a intake.

i got my intake from cosmo cause it was super cheap and a intakes a intake basically. got it in about 4 days so i had good service from them.
i bought one of these about 2 weeks ago and am very happy with it. the filter looks nicebut is your basic throw away filter , but it does the job, but the pipe and fittings were perfect and good quality
Bought one for my '99 2.4L. only 1 problem; it rubs the hood. Other than that, an intake is an intake. No complaints other than it rubs the hood.

I am thinking about getting a short ram intake. Right now my intake is a cold air intake. I think i am loosing low end with this. I disconneted it and was getting some better bottom end from diconnecting the piece that goes to the fender.

i seen i guy with one at my work and it rubs a bit but just cut out the insulation over the highest part of it. it was anodized to red and look good. got it in tree days also.
Great looking and performing intakes, no crappy welds and all the wholes for sensors are right. Also the company is excellent on shipping I bought mine off ebay a while back and got it in 48 hours.
