i have a 97 2.4. im getting borla boomer exhaust with pacesetter 4-1 header and a 25' in. resonator running a 2.25 cat. was wondering how loud will this be, will u be able to hear it down the street or what?
i know it will quiet the raspyness and deeper the tone but i dont want to silence it
The resonator will definitely help you out. I'm sure it'll be fine and not so loud that you'll be able to hear it down the street. If its still too loud for your taste, pick up a longer resonator and sell your current one.
Its a good start; did you pick up the 4-1 design for a specific performance purpose or for the ceramic coating?

i picked the 4-1 for mid-top level gains. cavs enough torque for me from start. i do highway racng so i need it frm a roll.
Well you may not see any gains on your low end, you might even lose some power. But your high end will see it anyway so that should be sweet. I'm with you, I'd sacrifice some low end for better high end.
