Hey guys, didn't get much help over in the audio/electronics forum, so I will try here.
I am swapping a 2004 Cavalier Ecotec, 5 speed, wiring harness and ECM into my 1988 Fiero. Now I got the guage pod off the Cavalier, and would love to run the stock Cavy gauges until I wanna spend money on aftermarket gauges.
Now my question is, what wires will I need to connect to the 12 pin connector on the back of the guage pod to run them? Do they run from the BCM of the Cavy, or straight from the ECM? The most important ones woudl be the fuel, temp, tach and speedo, with the oil light. I know how these are normally routed and wired in older cars but since the Cavy has a BCM which also controls some other funcitons, I am not sure which, if any it controls on the guage panel or if thats strictly the ECM's job.
ANY help would be appriciated. Thanks

Not sure if this will help you out or not...
