You deff do not want cheap pistons. You get what you pay for so unless you want to have to re-do it again just do it right the first time.

Good Luck.

if you just want forged pistons go with wisco off the shelf pistons. they have a 9.1:1 and a 10:1. thoes go from about $450-$500. now if you want customs pistons go with arias pistons, you can get any compression ratio you want and they run $600. i paid $590 for my arias 8.5:1, but they took 4 weeks to make.

He's absolutley correct...

As a "tuner" you should never go around looking for the cheapest part but the find quality parts for the cheapest prices, there is a difference.

Now Michael Heist, my question is, do you know what compression you're aiming for? What is your goal by upgrading your pistons? Are you staying naturally aspirated or going forced induction? These are questions you need to ask yourself before spending big money on engine internals.

Ah alright...gotcha. I'd suggest 9:1 compression for that kind of setup. Are you boosted already or installing these after boost?

Also, I agree that www.carcustoms.net is probably the best place to get some pistons.

Sorry for the confussion earlier. Good luck.

Man my piston and rod combo is going to take 6 to 7 weeks. The pistons are custom made ( duh ) but i was wondering if thats a long time to wait?
