I have a 2001 z24...right now it has no resonator and a glasspack for a muffler. I like the sound but am outgrowing it, plus its too loud and attracts the cops. I was thinking about a thrush turbo muffler. I want a deep tone that isnt too loud. I did a search and read that some of you use these. Will this muffler give me the deep sound i want or can you give me any suggestions? Also i am considering a custom bent catback, is 2.5" over kill? Thanks for any advice you can give.

i would go anybigger than 2.5 inch exhaust on a 2.4
the muffler might give you a good sound. but it might sound different on every car

I have the setup you might be thinking of right now. look in registry. and its 89 decibels. legal in california. hell if you can get away here you can get away anywhere. and it sounds pretty good.

If you think its too loud you could always look into investing in a decent size resonator, a muffler alone can only do so much.
