Just a quick question. On the 2002 cavaliers if it has an ecotec will it be the same motor based on looks as an 03. My buddy has an 02 and is convinced that it is an ecotec but it doesnt even say ecotec on the motor like my 03 does. If someone could please post something on this i would appreciate it.
2003 Silver Cavalier 2.2L Ecotec!!!!
should look exactly like the 03 minus the fuel rail (it's different) and maybe a couple of minor things.

werd. if it doesn't say ecotec on the motor... it probably isn't. is your intake manifold on the front side (as in right behind the core support) or... on the back side by the firewall?

Go to the track and when he busts out a 17 second 1/4 to your 15 second one you'll know for sure!
Semper Fi SAINT. May you rest in peace.

you can instantly tell just by looking at the motor lol. eco's are backwards. intake in the front, exhaust in the back. OHV's are the opposite.
