96 engine

I need to get my car running again and I 've been having to many problems with my built engine. I was wondering if mechanically is there a difference between a 96 engine versus a 97 engine. Will my sensor from my 97 be the only difference.

Thanks in advance

Sal

that could be a little confusing to someone wanting a plain simple answer. yes lol, the motor and wiring harnesses are identical
