the 2.3 TB is 56mm. unless you are going to boost, i believe a 62mm would be a little on the big side for a n/a motor, unless it was heavily modified.

this is my sig

Yea all the 2.3's have the same throttle body, just the difference in the intake manifold. If you are going boost, yea I would go with the 62mm. However, for a pretty mild build, you'll be just fine with the 56mm.

If I go with NO2 then could 62mm be a better choice? (not so much of an overkill?) IF I give it some juice, then the more air would be needed, right? Or is 56mm still my best option?
How will should my car react with a 62mm with the following mods: Spec stage 3 clutch kit, Spec Al. Flywheel, B&M Short Throw Shifter, AEM True Power pully, RSM Underdrive pully, Custom front mount ram air intake, 2.5" full exhaust running off of a Pacesetter 4:1 header????

lose the front mount intake, boost your car, and get the 62mm TB. Seriously though, get rid of the FM intake

Why would you get rid of the front mount intake? Mine seems to run so much better with the fm intake. Seems to have hella accelaration, compared to what it had before. Just curious.......

Running a front mount intake is similar to running an intercooler on a non-turbo vehicle. It looks like something there for a purpose while it's just a regular intake, more succeptable to getting water inside it, and all that extra unneeded piping that loses velocity. A short ram would do you so much better off.

Thank you for the insite. I was just curious as to why you would take it off.

No problem. Others will agree with me, they are more of a restriction than a gain

If your going to do the swap, use the 2.3TB sensors... just a word of advice if you didn't know already. NY j-bodies have good directions, but the part about needing to modify your 2.4 sensors is wrong

oh yeah, the part about only needing one peice of vacuum hose is BS too, unless i did it wrong... it works so i dont care and the sound and added power (torque) are awesome
