hey guys, does anyone have any knowledge of the ptuning headers for the 2.2 Ecotec. they're 4-1 design. also if anyone has any dyno graphs with it that would be awesome. thanks in advance.

The header they have for sale on that site from what I list is the DC Sports header, which is overpriced and doesn't include a B pipe to bolt to your factory catalytic converter. I'd go with either the RK Sport or the Izuzu Performance 4-1.

i'm talkin about a pacesetter 4-1 header. i noticed they dont have anymore for sale, but if you can still tell me anything about the pacesetter then that would be cool.

The pacesetter is a good header. It requires extending your o2 sensor, which I would buy the Casper Electronics o2 extension kit from Summit Racing so you don't have to splice and all that. If you are buying pacesetter, DEFINITELY get the armor coated (ceramic coat) header.

Pacesetter is crap, why do you think the prices are so cheap?

Do you have any real evidence to back this claim up , or are you just babbling?

I have had two pacesetter products , and they fit perfect, way better then the OBX-R Racing header for the 2200.

A couple of my friends also have pacesetter headers, and havent had ONE problem.

So how could they be crap?

Ok they work and everything, but pacesetter is to DC sports as is Gateway to Alienware, both work but one is alot better then the other. For best quality and resultI would go with 4-2-1 DC sport or RK sport; ceramic coated too.

My personal opinion is the DC Sports dropped the ball on the 2.2 eco header and the pacesetter is much better. The 2.4L header, in development from DC Sports, may change this, they have a very nice setup.

Pacesetter headers are fine, the catbacks are not. Mine is fine and I didn't need to extend my o2 wires. I would much rather get the pacesetter for half the cost of the dc header.

As far as I am concerned, DC Sports is overpriced for what they give you. I wouldn't pay $450 for a header for a four cylinder, even if it DID include a B pipe. And the Eco header doesn't. Maybe they will change it up with the LD9 header but who knows.
