i ordered a gtech pro RR off the website. i saw an ad for it a while back, and researched it quite a bit (as far as acuracy.) i posted on here a while back too, and as far as i can tell i have never heard bad things about it.
for those of you who dont know what the gtech pro meters are, they measure:
Horsepower
Torque
60ft time
1/8th & 1/4 mile
0-60 & 0-100-0mph
RPMs & Shiftlights
Handling Gs
Record up to 30 runs with 3 precision sensors
and the RR model has all the features of the SS plus:
Road Racing/Autocross
PASS Software
Multiple Vehicle Support
2hr data-acquisition
PC Download Cable
AC Adapter
Permanent Mount
so anyways i bought the RR for a total of 350$ after tax and shipping. i should have it monday, and ill let you guys know about the accuracy and wheather or not its worth the $$.
also it has a 30 day money back guarentee. so they say i can get my money back if it isnt accurate. and since im going to the track on wed., it should be an interesting test
here is the website:

Girls make me mad and break my heart, but my car is always there for me.
as i've already owned one.... i will def stress.... the info you get OUT of it, will only be as good as the info you put IN...
most i;ve seen who completely hate it usually estimated crap, especially like weight, and mounted it to moving surfaces.... if you guess and half arse the input, the output will prob be outrageous. the majority in the lower ranks of the auto world half arse things.
mount it solid and enter in EXACT PRECISE info, and the information out you will def be VERY near if not exact on the money.
i was thinking about mounting it on my windshield under the rear view mirror? is that a good idea? where is yours mounted?
and i weighed my car the other day, it is exactly 3000 lbs with me in it. im assuming you enter the weight with you in it, correct?
thanks

g-tech pro's are awesome infact i have one in my daytona and yeas they are accurate, i timed my q-mile time w/ it and then a week later i went to the track and ran the q-mile and the times from the g-tech and the track weren't even off by 1/10 of a second. i think the 0-60 times are off because it says my daytona does 0-60 in 4.9 seconds my car is very heavily modified and u can read about it in my profile if u wish and it dynoed at 357 horse i forget torque cause i lost the freaggin slip but 4.9 seems a little fast does that sound right? but anyway the g-tech is an awesome tool to have, very useful. u will like it.
People say that what doesn't kill you in this life
will make you stronger. I'm not sure if that is true
or not, but i do know one thing-You have to learn from
it and it has to make you better.......it has to.......
no 4.9 seconds to get from 0-60 with a car with 357 hp sounds about right. i would expect it to be between 4 and 5.

yup...
the way you run, is the way you enter it...
if your car is 3118, enter 3118.
i had a friend tell me it isnt accurate if its uphill or downhill. he said it is only accurate with 1/4 mile times on flat ground. is this true?

With my regular Gtech(I would assume the pro is the same), yes, hills have a hugh effect. Besides, even if it didnt effect the gauge, it will effect the cars performance, so you'll be thrown off that way.

"i promise we won't get drunk, and go out in boat in the dark, stand up in the boat and fire the gun into the air unless we have life jackets on."
^^^ troooo
downhill will accelerate readings uphill will slow em.
will it only slow or speed readings on hills if it is measuring the 1/4 mile time only? or does it also effect everything else like the hp, tq, handling Gs, etc?

i have a G-tech Pro SS if anybody wants to buy it i dont plan on modding the motor anymore so i dont really need it anymore. I kinda dont know why i bought it in the first place i only used it like 3 or 4 times. Email me if your interested N1gordo@aol.com. i dont really have a set price i want to sell it at. I paid 200 so something reasonable nothing to outrageous.
I haven't used mine very much but it seems pretty accurate. did a couple of runs in the Tibby last week and came up with the same 15.03 twice and one 15.04 if it isn't accurate then its persistent.
