ok well now that i know that there is no special way to weld a muffler on i need to pick one. i want to get a magnaflow because i here they are good mufflers and they sound good. i want a single tip muffler. does anyone have any suggestions??

I just ordered Magnaflow muffler number 642-14315 from this page on Jeg's.

2.25" single out, center/center oval design. Stainless steel.

Dynomas is also a good muffler. You can get the ultraflo, evern Borla. Most people on here seem to be fans of Magnaflow. I have heard them and some sound good some sound ok. I like Dynomax Many people have Dynomax Superturbo because is has a nice sound and is nice adn quiet a popular choice amongst some muscle car people.

Eitherway if you get a straight through muffler you may need to get a resonator.

There are no secret cams for the ecotec that I know of. I am pretty sure it was for the 2.4 only.

I'm using a thrush turbo muffler, gonna go get DB tested later this week.

Go with a borla boomer they look and sound awesome. Worth the money i replaced my
magnaflow with one of those and it was really worth it.

Buy a Universal Magnaflow muffler (Stainless Steele) without a tip and find a Magnaflow tip that you like...it's as simple as that.
