my car is a 98 RS and it's an automatic. when i take off in the morning or at night my car begins to putter than almost dies. i give it gas when he is having his fits but it doesnt do anything i can almost floor it but still it's not helping. when i give it gas i can still save it from dieing. i tested my fuel pump and the pressure is fine. the fuel filter has been changed and had a fuel system cleaning. it costs 75 dollars for a dealership just to look at it . i ran a scan tool on it and no codes came up. i work at pep boys so i had all the mechanics in the shop look at my car and they dont know why it's dieing on me. it's like i have a stick and i'm not giving it gas and i've almost have released the clutch out all the way. it's really bother some. the one time it died on me was a night when it was cold and rainy. and then this morning when it was nice and sunny outside. a customer came in and told me he had a 98 black RS , just like mine, and it was dieing on him as well. i dont know what it is! help me!
