Yayy more Arospeed header problems :(

Gosh this is really a crappy design. First of all the connection between my cat was banging against each other so I cut a little notch outta the subframe.. then it started sounding like I had an exhuast leak everytime I gave it throttle
It was still rubbing on my subframe connector on the top, so I cut out a notch on the top, it helped with some of the sound and it was good to at least not have it rubbing on everything .
But now the downpipe is resting right on top of my P/S lines everytime I give it thottle and my motor mounts give way..

So now once again I ask the board if they have any solutions.. maybe something thin that will not melt from the heat and also stop the terrible sound

take the header out

it's apparently a pile of shat and you're telling us that

replace it with something worthwhile

and i tell you what, i NEVER would've notched the subframe NEVER.... i would've asked for my money back

Header wrap could be even worse of an idea because moisture could get inside of it and rust the header out.

If I were you, I'd cut my losses and sell it on ebay or classifieds and try and get some money back for it OR you could just throw it away and buy a more known (popular) and quality header. Spending your money trying to fix it won't help at all because you'll more than likely have problems with it in the future as well.

Sorry for the crappy results. Good luck bro.

I guess so. I mean, if you leave it on it might cause more problems in the future. Eithe way, good luck.

I didn't have any problems with mine.

Make sure its on their good and tight.

If you have an exhaust leak take it to a ship and have them,

1.) hit the bolts a few times with an impact.
2.) get the cat welded to the downpipe.

Everything Is tight its just the stock motor mounts are wayy to mushy and move under any throttle..The DP is already welded to the cat
