...anyone got a link to where i can purchase one? i searched but couldnt find it..plus im tired.

i read somewhere they sell em for our cars (btw a 96 ohv with ac) that have higher amperage put out...
..on the side note, is a bad alternator the main source of killing batteries? My stock unti wen out 6 months ago, i replaced it with a remanufactured unit, and it worked great, but yesterday morning, my battery light came on...the lights dimmed as I drove it...and then the car starting missing/bogging, and then died. i got a freidn to bring me a new battery, and it changed it, and the car runs great. just wanna make sure that im not missing a potential problem..cant spend 60 bucks on a new battery every week.

I got mine from
Alterstart Systems Inc.
I'm not sure if a bad alternator will kill a battery, but I do know that the alternator is responsible for recharging the battery.
That's pretty good for $200.

Ok, mr. cracker, just ordered my unit.

Thanks...i ordered it next day air, price isnt the issue, not letting batteries use up their life and die is the issue. hopefully, thisll fix the problem. anyone else have any ideas why the battery in a car would keep dying other than having a faulty alternator that is not charging the battery?

I would replace the battery to alternator wire with some 4-gauge like they suggest. I really don't think it could be anything else besides a bad alternator. Those re-man units usually don't last very long, at least thats been my experience.
.....my thoguts exactly. can i source the 4-gauge wire at an auto store? (i.e. advance auto?) gonna go check tomorrow...

4 guage wire is typically used for car audio amp installs, so just go to any place that sells car audio and you will find it there I'm sure.
