I have a problem that I do not know if I was told correctly about. I am having problems with my car reading HOT!!!!260 Degrees HOT! I had a shop use a laser temp reader, and my motor never got over 210 anywhere. Does this mean that my head is cracked? Or is it my water pump? Or is it something else? PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!

90-91 will work just as well...

the mounts on the transmission changed..the ones on the block had an extra one in front but we simply dont use it..the tranny only had one mount because of this..mid 92 they changed to 2 mounts on the tranny and all were happy

90-91 don't have the side mount on the passenger side. the hole are there but the mount is not there.

Btw, the only way to see if the head is crack is to take it off. Change the coolant temperature sensor. If the gauge always show 260°, it may only be the sensor.

I would take off the thermostat and see if helps. If it does, put a new one in.

If you really overheat the engine, you'll need to rebuild the top.

I am getting a HO anyways. I sweet talked my dealer to put one in. He has one with 69,000, so I am very lucky. Thanks for all of the help!!!!!
