I Just Got A Block Out Of A Pontiac And Was Wondering What All Has To Be Done To Turbo The Motor... Im Starting From Scratch I Know Its Costly But It Is Worth It... Also This Is Going In A Second Gen Cavy... If You Know Of Any Aftermarket Parts Or Where To Get Them Could You Please Post Them... Also Its A 94 Grand Am

www.the-race-shop.com sells a lot of performance stuff for the Quad 4 motors. Depending on which motor it is, would depend on what needs to be done to the motor internally. The LO Quad 4's are the best for boost in all honesty because of their lower compression. If you have an HO, it will take boost, but not a ton and a good tune. How much power are you looking to make end result?

could yo unot just run a lower compresion on the ho ?? what if you wanted to run about 15psi with nos, lets say you want between 300-400 whp can it be done on a stroker 2.3

yes it can be done on a stroker..and you do have the right idea about lowering the compression...you CAN turbo it with the flat slugs ...get some dished pistons and you can use a higher psi..such as the 15 your talking about..seems a bit high but i dont know if that much as been tryied on a stroker really ill have to look around..im sure if you built it right it could hold it...maybe gilles knows of someone thats done it
