2.4l eco 172 hp. vvt

has anyone ever heard of someone or tried the 2.4L ECOTECŪ Engine in a cavalier.. i think that sounds like a nice engine.. bet it would make our cars faaast stock.. high 14s maybe. any comments on the swap or know anything about it.

It's a nice engine but the only issue I would see is being with the computer. The VVT runs off the computer and you have to make sure you can swap everything in your cavalier and have it work properly.

or keep it in a delta platform and use the JBP turbo that they are working on =)

do you think this engine in the cobalt with bolt ons would hang or beat the ss supercharged? i think possibly.

Isnt the 2.4L Eco different in the solstice, different then the other 2.4L eco? i forgot what car it was in, darn.

Actually Cobalts are Delta platform, not D-Bodies.
