i put the injen "CAI" on my car. its really not cold air though. it doesnt go down in the wheel well or anything, so i am wondering do they make a real CAI or a cold air extension for my car
To be honest with you, there isn't a whole lot of noticeable difference between a WAI (Short Ram) and a CAI. If you think about it, the difference in air temperature is very negligible because the pavement stores heat and then it rises, so even with a filter in the wheel well you're sucking in air that is only slightly cooler. The air also goes through the piping which is warmed inside the engine bay, so by the time the air reaches the throttle body there is very little if at all difference in temp. over what you have right now.
Your WAI might even give you a little better throttle response due to the shorter pipe but I'm not 100% on that

ebay WAI + K&N filter. a true K&N filter. works wonders.
I was a retard, and now I'm permanently banned.
They all work. I have the AEm and I like it. I had one that I made before and it was a good one. 20 dollars worth of parts and a decent gain midrange and upper range.
I'll have a sig someday....................
i have the CAI one from gravana, goes into the front bumper I like it. Cant tell a difference though between my car and my friends which has identical mods. Neck and neck every time.
Yes, the AEM also goes right into the bumper (at least one of the grille openings).
