well, i finally picked one up today. it came off a 93 grand am gt. so my q is, what exactly do i have to do to install this? ive heard you have to drill the stock manifold[charger] for the 13 mm bolts, and ive heard that you just have to make sure the t/b is centered and use the stock bolts. which one? and also, can i just use the stuff off the stcok t/b and put it on the 2.3 t/b? or will i have to get new parts? and this one came with cruise, but its diff than the 2.4 t/b, can i still use it? if not no biggie. and which ports are which on the 2.3? if you need a pic i can get one lol. thanks again guys.....

Just center it, I would never drill into charger for this mod!

You must use the 2.3l IAC and I don't think any other 2.4l sensor works with it.

I gotta question though, where the IAC bolts on and the brake booster tube comes off of, is that plate removeable from your TB itself?

yes cruice will work with that tb , but you need the bracket for it also

the angles for the cables are different


and ill be the first to say that tb looks like ass , you must live in a area that snows alot , and they salt the roads


and you will need a 2.3 IAC for that tb

well i cleaned it up ALOT, engine degreaser does wonders lol. and the 2.3 iac, is that the big round hole? cause i broke something on the 2.4 t/b and now it idles at 1.3k and i thought that was the iac. its got kinda of a ('.') plug on it lol. what is the round thing with the orange o-ring on it? is that the tps? i will have to go back sunday and get the stuff. will an iac off a non-ho 2.3 work as well? or do i have to use the ho 2.3 iac? thanks man

the big round thing is where the TPS goes yes,

and if my memory is correct there were 3 styles of TB's all were 56mm and I think work with the same TPS but if you're still not sure, try finding a similar TB.

alright, now i wanna know why only 2 holes are used? wtf? do i have the wrong t/b?
