OK, now that I have a I/H/E/TB/MM's and a shifter I guess the last simple bolt on is a light weight pulley right? I don't have the money for the head/cam's ect right now, I plan to boost it with the gm charger comes out but thats a ways away right now. So other than the pulley, anything else I am forgetting? I will be getting the rsm pulley because I want it to be stock size.

I would say that an alt. pulley may help you out and some transmission bushings.
I'll have a sig someday....................
RSM pulley. leave alt pulley stock

Unless you have a high powered stereo, having an underdrive pulley won't hurt you. I've had mine for a long time, no problems and gains were good. Don't be afraid to get away from the stock size.

i ahve the RK underdrive and i love it. it was my last bolt on and once i get around to 4k rpms is when i really feel my car coming together. like adam said unless u got a high power stereo system then RSM is for u but if u dont then underdrive can also be added to ur options of pulley

what should i get if i have a high powered stereo?
throwdown011 wrote:what should i get if i have a high powered stereo?
You would want a stock sized crank pulley like RSM sells.
The reason you would probably want an underdrive pulley with an high powered stereo or a car with alot of lighting accessories is that an underdrive pulley reduces the amount of power to accessories to increase revs.

if i replaced the stock speakers and had one 10" sub amped, would the pully still be a bad idea?
* * BIG FOR SALE POST * *
I DO NOT have a stereo system, what kind of pulley would i be looking for, stock size, or smaller then stock?
I want a pulley for my 2200 with air conditioning, who makes one, and is there gains to be noticed?

Most of the power made from aftermarket pullies is from the weight.
But underdriven for the little extra if you don't have much of a demand on your electrical system. I'm sure this is covered in the faq at the top of forum page.

you'll be fine with underdrive, hids and a small amp aren't a huge drain
So which one is better? rksport or rsm..,
NJHK didn't you have to get a belt for that pulley?which one n how much bling!!
that's also my last remaining mod to be done...
...i got an rsm pulley on the way right now....anyone interested in the underdrive pulley on my car now can email me at soulhorse715@yahoo.com. best offer gets it.

got good references from aaron at turbo tech or nelson at rsm, if intersted.
so we'll see who's right, ill know first hand which pulley is better. i ordered it b/c i did notice as well a dimming of my headlights and gauges with the underdriven pulley. nice power gain, though...
...don't hate!.. respect people that have talent, even if it is in something you don't like or understand.
Why not run the RSM stock size and lightweight alt. pulley? That is what I am going to do. This shouldn't affect the accessories given it will not underdrive anything.

Because you don't want to run an overdrive pulley without an underdrive pulley.

Well I may put the bigger amp back in later so I will go with the rsm.

As far as I know, their isn't a alt pulley for the eco.

I assumed they were different because I never saw them selling a specific aftermarket set of alternator pullies.

I had my cousin get the RSM stock size and lightweight pulley and he didn't notice much of a difference. maybe cause he has an auto?
it seems that the rksport pulley will get you gains at the expense of amp power or am i wrong...is this why NJHK is looking now for a alt pulley?
I just want to know which one has better gains...track is only open for another month, so i need to order one...which one though???
