If I lower my compression before I get a turbo will my car go slower?

I think the question he is asking is if he lowers his compression and takes time between that and getting a turbo kit, will his car be slower...
The answer is yes...your car will be slower. I think before you start messing with your motor, read more on what compression ratio is.

you'll be just fine with up to 6 psi. above 6 psi, you won't necessarily need lower compression. our motors run pretty low compression stock. just forged internals and a good tune.
