okey i have a chance to pick one of these up for pretty cheap because i am throwing the CEL for the cat 02 sensor. I have read that post by the honda guy about the cheap fix for it, but will this 02 sim work for me? I have a 1998 cavy with the 2200 engine. With this on the car, will it still pass my state inspection/emissions?
also the one i will be getting is from a 2.4...will it still work on the 2.2?

I would think it would work. However, RK Sport lists the 2.2 as the only applicable motor for the o2 sim so you might want to contact them about it.

I had a real O2 sim, and still got a light like the guy aboce said. I did the cheap one, and it has worked flawlessly. I would go the cheap route.
