hey i know that there are alot of post about this but i just had to ask one stupid question. i made the mistake of applying for the carsponsorships.com sponsorship and well i just found out today after reading up on them because they sent me a letter saying that i have been accepted and i didnt know what to this so i started searching. any ways i havent been sent any kind of actual sponsorship yet so i was wondering if there was anything that yall knew to do to stop them from charging me the 89 bucks. can you stop a payment with a credit card. thanks for the help and sorry about this being posted in the wrong forum but i trying to find this info out as soon as possible so that maybe i can act before they charge me.

you can put a stop payment on your card, call the card company and tell them before money is transfered to them. Canceling your car with charges made will still be your liability, so stop payment will be the best way to do it.

send me a copy of the part of the paperwork where they tell you the money goes to a charitible organization. i remember seeing that back when they sent me some crap about it and i know someone who joined this "company" and never got his tax thing for the charitible donation....we want to see if we can get them on fraud because of this but neither of us can find that part of the paperwork anymore.

Yea they are nothing but a scam it's funny b/c you need to be their slave in order for the sponsorship to work for you. If I ever get sponsored I will only put their sticker where I want it and I don't want to be obligated to do so many shows a year with X amount of attendies etc. I know this means I problably will never get a sponsor but I'd rather do it solo then be somone's Biatch
