Electronics mods

I remember posting this once before a couple months abck but i cannot find it, so im hoping u guys dont mind answering the question again.

What are some of the engine electronics mods out there, what do u recommend, what do they do etc. Im working on turbo chargiing my car so i need to change some items in the fuel system, injectors and pump topping the list with electronics not far behind.

Also, anyone know how to calculate how much fuel i would need and what size injectors so that the car will run witht he elvel of boost i want.?

the only electonics mod i would recommend is an SAFC... which... that's basically all you can do right now as far as electronics goes. as far as injectors go, that depends on how much power you want to make. but that discussion would need to take place in the boost forum.

this is true. but for a N/A car without a ton of mods, an SAFC would be much cheaper for its use

He is going turbo. I thought the emanage was better than the safc

yea tune a turbo motor with an E-manage or a full standalone. I wouldn't trust SAFC to handle a boost setup in all honesty. It's guided by RPM, not fuel pressure.

Hopefully, I'll prove that theory wrong

An SAFC is almost useless on an allmotor car. Sure, it can tweak fuel, but so far as doing anything to add power you need to remap timing as well, either adding advance or retard at certain rpms. Making Emanage the better choice.

yet at the same time, SAFC is nearly useless on a boosted car. Because the SAFC can't pull back timing and it doesn't add fuel based on increased fuel pressure. Maybe SAFC's are really worthless.
