im not sure if others may have missed this fact but i have not really heard it come up on here at all. so it is true that HPT will be making software for the J bodies. i re-read the info available here (http://hptuners.com/products.html) and a couple things sparked my interest that i had forgotten about. here are the quotes im talking about :
"The VCM Flash utility allows the user to read the VCM/PCM flash memory and save it to a binary file. All files are unencrypted allowing an advanced user complete freedom to view and modify the binary image in any suitable hex editor."

soooo... not only can we adjust our fuel/timing and all the other neat stuff through the UI of the program, but we can also dig right into code for the PCM as well. this is hella cool and hopefully I amongst others here on the org can come up with a solution for engine swappers. if i have made comments in other threads and people have thought i was crazy this is what i am referring to. anyway just thought id post up my thoughts and leave it open for you guys to chime in.
