That's what I freaking need...
www.kronosperformance.com / 732-742-8837
it's not even on the hypertech website either... Hmmm.....

I hope that is what it really says it is and not a typo. I called on it but the guy told me he had a problem and couldn't see it and i needed to call back.
bah, not much in the way of tuning. not appealing for the i/h/e guys for the price, and guys with F/I and more built engines will probably spend their money on much better tuning options, plus isn't the HPTuners software coming out for less than that with 100x the options ?

15.891 @ 88 mph stock, still getting @!#$ty launches...
ill wait for the hp tuners !!!!!!!!!
and save money
Okay so you guys see ONE website with this item listed with a VERY high price and your jumping on the company?
How many people were bitching from day one for Hypertech to make something like this for our cars? Now that you see it advertised people saying they dont want it? Do you now wonder why no one wants to make anything? I am more than sure the price has to be a mistake because if you look at it none of there other parts cost that much money. Why dont you guys call hypertech, actually get a part number for the item and start calling hypertech dealers for pricing? Or why not ask hypertech what the MSRP pricing on the item is?
i see your point i only complained because everything else they sell isnt more then like $450 usually even the new stuff

The one, the only, ME.
Well, it doesn;t do much. Shift points and firmness Auto only, tire speed, Governors, and cooling fan.

I did a Google search on the HYPERpac and the price is pretty consistant. I also noticed that this is a pre-release item(not on the market yet). It performs the functions of the Power Progamer III, a Scan Tool and a Performance meter(Dyno?) all wrapped in one package. The part number is listed on most sites as "GM Cars", to include Impala, Monte Carlo, Riveara, etc..
Hypertech has had decient programers, but I have my reservations on one that can doo so many vehicles.
Who knows, it just might work, though!
for the money wouldn't Mega Squirt be better in the long run? I'm not well versed in this stuff, but I know people ho have raised the RPM limit etc with it and if you want the turn your cooling fan on and off, go get a $4 relay and wire it in.
I seen this 2 months back, I see it must of just came out for our cars , but i was told it was 900 back then

.
Beware the Rouge Dragon.

Truly depends on what your plan for your set-up is. This is nice to see this out. This is usually warranty friendly. Also you can put stuff back stock to have service done. To do a megasquirt you should be planning a big build up.
FU Tuning
Mabye I missed it elsewhere but what are people expecting the HP tuners version to cost?
Less than this thing, but you've got to have a laptop or very long cable.
look at it this way, they've got the market cornered on these things... there is no competition. How many other people do you see with moduals for our cars? I imagine once the hp tuners comes out, the price will drop... Does anyone know what the hp tuners is capable of tuning?

A/F ratio, Spark Advance, Rev Limiter, Speed Limiter, Shift Points(4sp), Speedometer Calibration, plus you get real-time sensor readings and code reading. On the HYPERpac you get all of the above, except the fuel and spark maps are fixed, while the HP Tuners will be infinitely adjustable. And for those running boost, the HP Tuners will be able to accept a 2 Bar MAP Sensor, instead of the 1 Bar that came stock.
