Vacuum Line on 2200 Throttle Body
Tuesday, September 06, 2005 11:08 PM
I've searched around to see if I could find any pictures or information regarding the sensors/vacuum lines on the throttle body for a 2200 (specifically a 2000 2200 engine) and couldn't find anything helpful. I'm planning on installing a vacuum gauge and I need to determine which line/port on the 2200 throttle body or intake manifold should be tapped for the gauge.

Pictures/descriptions would help a lot - thanks in advance.

Yeah, I assumed that any vacuum line on the throttle body/intake manifold would be fine to tap, but if anyone has a link or a picture, I'd like to see a diagram of what each line goes to, vacuum lines and sensor wires.

Has anyone done this on a specific vacuum line for the 2200?

basically...

theres two skinny lines and one big one... the big one goes to the brake booster as its VERY visible... the other two you should be able to see where they go just by looking at your car...
one is to the fuel regulator.

dont be too skeered to look under the hood

Ok, thanks. I did take a look and saw several, what seemed to be, vacuum lines and didn't know if there was a difference between them.

Thanks everyone for their help.
