it's not in the muffler, it's in your piping diameter and whether or not your exhaust is resonated. Go to Magnaflow and pick up a 20" resonator and you'll notice a definite difference.

I just used a cheap-o E bay muffler and a 25inch Glasspack.
it sounds great in my opinion.

Forever a work in Progress
which, so you don't get confused, a glasspack = resonator. same thing.]

a resonator will 'clean up' the sound, if you will. right now i have a dual exit setup from magnaflow, the sound isn't bad but its loud and can get a bit annoying. i plan on adding a resonator which i hope will tighten the deep sound and tone down the volume a bit. in my opinion a resonator will be a good decision. also, changing your pipes to to a larger diameter to accomodate the exhaust flow wouldn't be a bad idea.

Blown.
not loud at all...
30 inch resonator, 5x8 oval muffler, 20 inch resonator...tip.
granted you dont need 3 mufflers like i have, but a decent sized resonator and a muffler of your choice should do the trick...shoot for atleast a 22+ inche resonator.
